Residential Scheme Manager

South Brent

£17,610 - £18,154 per year

A 2 bedroom flat is provided

25 hours per week – Monday to Friday

We have an exciting opportunity for a Residential Scheme Manager to join our Housing Services team at a housing scheme for older persons. You will be responsible for delivering a high-quality housing management service, which will include promoting independent living, providing tenancy advice and signposting to other agencies for support. This is a rewarding yet challenging role and is ideal for someone who has previous experience of working with older or vulnerable people in a housing management setting and is knowledgeable about safeguarding.

The role of Regional Scheme Manager will include:

• Providing administrative support for the delivery of high quality and value for money housing services
• Assisting with part of the lettings process, including viewings, pre-void inspections and key management
• Conducting compliance checks and scheme inspections to ensure health and safety regulations are met
• Maintaining accurate records and manage extensive computer work efficiently
• Liaising with external organisations such as Care and Support Agencies and Adult Social Services concerning additional support requirements/safeguarding referrals
• Identifying and report potential repairs or faults at the scheme and monitor to completion
• Effectively managing low level anti-social behaviour, which may include gathering relevant information to support this and manage the complaint process for the service area

Skills and experiences:

• Previous experience working with older people or vulnerable client groups
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills to build strong relationships
• Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
• Travel is a requirement of the role, therefore a full valid driving licence is essential

• Effective 1st April role salary is £17,610 (rising to £18,154 after 12 months, subject to satisfactory performance)

Effective 1st April the full time equivalent salary for this role is £26,415 based on 37.5 hours per week rising to £27,232 after 12 months service and subject to satisfactory performance
