
Home Exterior Sales Representative – Residential Roofing
Location: Livonia, Michigan (15 min from Detroit)
A rapidly growing residential roofing company expanding in the Livonia area, specializing in working with property management companies and insurance companies to acquire new residential clients. With a strong track record, including a recently signed $2M HOA job for next year, the company is looking for a driven sales professional to join the team and help build a high-performing sales department.
The Home Exterior Sales Representative will be responsible for generating new business, conducting roof inspections, and closing sales. The ideal candidate will have experience in home improvement or construction sales, with a strong preference for residential roofing experience. This role offers the opportunity to build a sales team from the ground up and grow within the company.
Key Responsibilities:
Prospect and develop relationships with property management and insurance companies to generate new residential roofing clients.
Conduct thorough roof inspections using EagleView, drones, and physical inspections (must be comfortable getting on roofs).
Present and sell roofing solutions to homeowners, ensuring a consultative sales approach.
Work closely with company leadership to develop and implement sales strategies.
Utilize Acculink CRM for tracking leads, sales, and follow-ups.
Participate in networking and community events to drive new business opportunities.
Qualifications:
1+ years of experience in home improvement/construction sales (residential roofing experience is a strong plus).
Ability to inspect roofs in person; drone/EagleView experience is beneficial but not a substitute for physical inspections.
Strong sales acumen with experience in closing deals and relationship management.
Self-motivated with a growth mindset and interest in building a sales team.
Comfortable working in the field and interacting directly with clients.
Training & Onboarding:
Classroom-based training supplemented with hands-on field training directly with Kevin or Patrick.
New hires will work in the field until fully confident in conducting inspections and closing sales independently.
Compensation & Benefits:
Base salary: $45K - $55K (negotiable based on experience).
Commission structure:
3% on company-provided leads.
5-6% on self-generated leads.
Potential earnings: $87K-$100K+ with $1M in sales.
Company gas card provided.
Benefits package available.
PTO: 1 week initially, then accrues over time.
