
Full-Time: Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm
The Residential Quality Assurance Director supports the ongoing compliance, quality improvement, and performance monitoring efforts of OMH (Office of Mental Health) and OASAS (Office of Addiction Supports and Services) licensed residential programs and services in Jefferson, Lewis and St. Lawrence Counties. This role is responsible for assisting with the organization and review of program documentation, monitoring regulatory and agency requirements, tracking corrective action plans and project deadlines, and supporting preparation for audits, inspections, and regulatory reviews. The position collects, analyzes, and reports operational, compliance, and incident-related data to identify trends, promote timely follow-up, and support continuous improvement.

Required: Bachelor’s degree in health administration, social work, counseling, psychology, public health, business administration, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of progressive leadership or management experience in behavioral health, healthcare operations, quality improvement, compliance, health information management, patient access, workforce development, or a related setting. Experience with Microsoft Products such as Office 365 Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint
Preferred: master’s degree in health administration, social work, counseling, psychology, public health, business administration, or a related field.
Must maintain valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.

Transitional Living Services of Northern New York (TLS) is a private not-for-profit agency which was incorporated in 1977 to establish residential services for individuals in need of psychiatric, rehabilitative support who were unable to live independently in the community. TLS currently offers Adult Services, Children's Services, and has two Behavioral Health and Wellness Centers.
