Legal Assistant Conveyancing -| Full-Time | Permanent

Location: Farnham

Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

Were working with a well-regarded and growing law firm that is looking to appoint an ambitious Legal Assistant to support their busy Residential Conveyancing team in their Farnham

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in conveyancing support who's ready to take the next step in their legal career within a friendly and forward-thinking firm.

About the Role

You'll be providing vital administrative and transactional support throughout the lifecycle of a conveyancing matter. From initial client contact to post-completion duties, you'll play a key role in ensuring a smooth and efficient process for both clients and fee earners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparing and issuing quotes for conveyancing services
  • Supporting client onboarding, including ID checks and file opening
  • Assisting with the preparation of sale and purchase files for exchange
  • Handling post-exchange and post-completion tasks, including submission of SDLT and registration
  • Liaising with clients, estate agents, and other third parties
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case files
  • Providing general administrative support to the conveyancing team

  • Previous experience in a conveyancing support role
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
  • High level of organisation and attention to detail
  • Proactive approach and willingness to take initiative
  • Familiarity with conveyancing processes and terminology
