We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Leasing Manager to oversee the leasing operations of our residential properties. This position requires a dynamic, detail-oriented individual who is passionate about delivering outstanding customer service while managing day-to-day leasing activities. The Leasing Manager will be responsible for driving occupancy rates, managing leasing associates, conducting property tours, and ensuring the leasing process is efficient, streamlined, and compliant with all regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Leasing & Property Management
• Ensuring a high retention rate within the renewal process
• Verifying Leasing Coordinators are utilizing all marketing collateral to enhance visibility and consumer awareness
• Ensuring rental rate, incentive offerings, and additional applicable charges are accurately represented
• Ensuring landlord and employer information is complete and accurate for submission to the credit and collections department
Team Leadership & Development
• Supervising, coaching, and mentoring others
• Motivating and guiding the team of Leasing Coordinators to improve capture rates and leasing pace
• Participating in the recruitment of Leasing Team members
• Providing Leasing Coordinators with the necessary training and tools to fulfill their duties
• Ensuring Leasing Coordinators are providing accurate and timely reports
Operational & Strategic Responsibilities
• Ensuring Strategics' competitiveness in all markets in which we operate
• Executing all work in a safe, professional manner in compliance with Occupational Health and Safety Legislation
• Performing other duties as required and assigned by the Vice President of Leasing
Qualifications
• Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, leasing, or a related real estate field (e.g., mortgages, commercial real estate, residential sales, real estate insurance, etc.)
• At least 2 years of experience managing a team of 5 or more members
• Understanding advertising and promotions of residential properties, experience with a sales CRMs platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Yardi CRM, Rhenti, etc.)
• Proficiency in Yardi, or at minimum a strong knowledge
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Availability for occasional evening and weekend work based on business needs
• Demonstrating exceptional organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to build excellent relationships with customers
• Possession of a valid Driver’s License with personal access to reliable transportation
