We are expanding our services within BridgeHaus Landscaping Services, providing reliable, professional landscape maintenance throughout our managed portfolio across San Diego County.As we grow this division, we are seeking an experienced Landscape Maintenance Technician who takes pride in their work, can work independently, and understands what it takes to keep residential properties looking clean, healthy, and professionally maintained.What You’ll DoPerform scheduled landscape maintenance at residential properties throughout San Diego CountyMow, edge, trim, blow, weed, prune, and maintain landscaped areas to BridgeHaus standardsMaintain shrubs, hedges, groundcover, lawns, and other common landscape materialsIdentify irrigation leaks, broken sprinkler heads, damaged drip lines, and other basic irrigation problemsPerform minor irrigation repairs when qualified and directedComplete seasonal cleanups, leaf removal, light pruning, and property cleanupFollow assigned routes and complete scheduled properties efficiently and on timeAbility to properly maintain, clean, and store company equipment, and promptly report any damage, malfunction, or needed repairsSafely operate commercial landscape equipment and toolsKeep company vehicles, trailers, tools, and equipment clean and organizedCommunicate clearly and respectfully with residents, property managers, vendors, and the BridgeHaus teamRepresent the BridgeHaus brand professionally at every propertyWhat We’re Looking ForPrevious professional landscaping or landscape maintenance experienceExperience operating commercial mowers, string trimmers, edgers, blowers, hedge trimmers, and other landscape equipmentKnowledge of irrigation systems and sprinkler repairsStrong attention to detail and pride in providing high-quality serviceAbility to work independently and stay productive without constant supervisionAbility to work effectively with other technicians and office/operations departmentsStrong communication skills and willingness to collaborate with team members to complete work efficiently and maintain service qualityGood time management and ability to follow an assigned routeAbility to recognize landscape problems and communicate recommended repairsProfessional appearance and demeanorEnglish proficiency required; Spanish is a plusRequirementsMust be at least 18 years of ageMust be legally authorized to work in the United StatesValid driver’s license and acceptable driving record required if operating a company vehicleAbility to safely operate landscaping tools and equipmentAbility to perform outdoor physical work in varying weather conditionsAbility to regularly stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, push, pull, and lift landscaping equipment and materials, with or without reasonable accommodationAbility to lift approximately 50 poundsMust follow all BridgeHaus safety procedures and applicable Cal/OSHA requirementsAny background screening applicable to the position will be conducted only after a conditional offer of employment and in accordance with the California Fair Chance Act and other applicable law.BridgeHaus will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories consistent with the California Fair Chance Act.Position & PayFull-time, hourly, non-exempt positionStarting pay: $21.00–$25.00 per hour, depending on experience, irrigation knowledge, equipment experience, and ability to work independentlyOvertime is paid when required by California lawMeal periods and paid rest periods are provided in accordance with California lawPerksOpportunity for advancement into Lead Landscape Technician / Crew Lead positionsReimbursement of required business expenses in accordance with California lawRequired business mileage reimbursed when an employee is authorized to use a personal vehicle for company businessCalifornia paid sick leave in accordance with applicable state and local law401(k) program, subject to plan eligibility requirementsEstablished customer base through BridgeHaus Property ManagersConsistent year-round work across our managed portfolio
