Key Responsibilities

As a Residential HVAC Service Technician, you'll be instrumental in ensuring optimal air conditioning performance, with responsibilities including:

• Skillfully brazing and soldering various metals for secure piping connections.
• Expertly installing, modifying, or repairing air ducts, indoor units, drain pans, drain lines, and outdoor units.
• Precisely installing and calibrating thermostats, humidistats, solenoids, and timers.
• Conscientiously inspecting inoperative indoor or outdoor units to pinpoint the root causes of trouble.
• Efficiently disassembling indoor or outdoor units to replace or repair defective parts.
• Performing essential preventive maintenance tasks such as drain cleaning, coil sanitizing, and motor lubrication.
• Comprehensively evaluating equipment operations after repairs using a range of instruments including gauges, voltmeters, leak detectors, sling pycnometers, static, and velocity instruments.
• Demonstrate strong product knowledge to support add-on sales and help customers make informed decisions

What We Need From You

• A minimum of 3 years of current Residential HVAC field experience is required.
• EPA Universal certification is required
• A valid Florida driver's license.
• Proven experience with low & high voltage wiring.
• Outstanding communication and customer service skills.
• Service Titan experience is a plus
• The ability to work flexible hours, including overtime as needed.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to successfully pass an extensive background check and drug test

The compensation for this position is fully commission based and expected to range between $21 - $31 per hour This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the qualifications necessary for the position, including experience, training, and other considerations permitted by law. Factors that may be used when making an offer may include a candidate’s skills, experience, the expected quality and quantity of work, and internal pay alignment, as needed.
