About the Role:
We are seeking expressions of interest for Residential Extended Care Assistants
Huon Regional Care is seeking Residential Extended Care Assistants (ECA) to provide support and care to improve health outcomes for our clients living in the Huon Valley.
In this role, you will be employed on a Permanent Part Time or Casual basis at either our Franklin or Dover facilities.
As an Extended Care Assistant – your duties may include;
1. Assist nursing staff to provide residents and service users with personal care in accordance with their care plans
2. Attend to personal care activities with attention to the promotion of resident/care recipient choice, decision-making and independence
3. Encourage and facilitate resident/care recipient participation in the Leisure & Lifestyle program and/or other informal social contacts.
You will need to have:
· A customer focused approach to your work
· Current Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care, Disability or Community Care, or willing to train
· A current First Aid certificate
· Demonstrated time-management skills
· Current Working with Vulnerable Person
