Salary - Level 1 (£26,824 to £28,142) and Level 2 (£32,061 to £33,699) both levels are pro rata, per annum plus sleep in payments and weekend enhancements and are dependent on qualifications and experience.

Foxwood short breaks home provides round the clock care for children and young people.
We provide holistic care to young people with a variety of needs which include young people with learning disabilities (either diagnosed or undiagnosed) and also children/young people with emotional and behavioral needs.
You will be joining a highly motivated and enthusiastic team who endeavour to make significant changes in young people’s lives. Our teams work across the whole week (including weekends and bank holidays)
Ideally you will have a background in residential care or be experienced in working with children. You will be required to have good levels of literacy and numeracy. This post is primarily for day shifts: however, flexibility is required as you may be asked to cover either and sometimes be required to sleep in.
To work within this environment, you will need to be committed to making a difference in the lives of young people. You will need to be reliable, have good personal relationship and communication skills as well as high professional standards.
Please be aware that as Norfolk County Council we can only offer skilled worker sponsorships and that the salary threshold is £33,400 per year.

Following a thorough induction and training programme, your duties will include:
Hold or be willing to work towards the Level 3 Diploma in Residential Child Care (paid for).
