JOB TITLE: Residential Aide/Food Service Worker
EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full Time, 40 hours/week
SCHEDULED HOURS: Monday-Friday 9am-5:30pm or 9:30am-6pm
PROGRAM/LOCATION: Heartwood Home, Willimantic, CT

Heartwood Home is a 12 bed 3.1 level residential program for men aged 18 and older located in Willimantic CT. Heartwood Home provides a structured recovery residence environment, staffed 24 hours a day, which provides sufficient stability to prevent or minimize relapse or continued use. Individuals have an opportunity to develop and practice their interpersonal and group living skills, strengthen their recovery skills, reintegrate into the community and family, and begin or resume employment or academic pursuits. Clients with co-occurring disorders and on Methadone maintenance are accepted. The length of stay is typically between 30-90 days. The range in duration is individualized and based on medical necessity and clinical progress.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
Experience: Strongly preferred: a minimum of two years’ experience as a cook; previous experience in meal planning and purchasing for at least 30 people and/or in a congregate care setting
Licensure/Certification/Registration: Current valid driver’s license (with good driving record). Strongly Preferred: ServSafe® Certification

$19.2850/hour min- $26.9735/hour max
*Actual rates within this range are determined at the time of offer and are based on relevant experience, as well as adherence to our internal equity policy. (Please note, for part-time positions this range would be pro-rated based on hours worked)
