Job Brief
The Resident Engineer serves as the on-site technical expert supporting the deployment of advanced DWDM optical transport networks for a Fortune 10 hyperscale technology company This role works closely with both customer engineering and internal service delivery teams to validate network designs, develop equipment integration procedures, and ensure successful deployment of longhaul DWDM platforms including Nokia 1830 PSI-L, GX, Ciena 6500 RLS and Waveserver systems. The position combines design validation, hands-on system commissioning, fiber characterization, troubleshooting, and technical leadership to support optical network deployment activities across North America, Europe, and APAC regions.
This is a full-time in-person position based in Richardson, Texas, splitting time between the corporate office and customer offices.
