Your Opportunity
This is a permanent part-time opportunity based atCobbittyPark Village, workingpreferablyon Monday,Wednesdayand Thursday, with the potential foradditionalhours
As a Resident Services Officer, you will be a key point of contact within our Retirement Village community, providing frontline customer service, reception and concierge support, administration, residentassistanceand event coordination.
Working closely with residents, families, villageteams,and external stakeholders, you will help create a positive resident experience through excellent communication, problemsolving,and community engagement.
You will support residents to navigate village services, stay connected to communityactivitiesand access the support they need to live well and independently within the village.

Customer ServiceandFront-of-House
Provide a welcoming and professional reception and concierge experience for residents, visitors,staffand contractors
Respond promptly and courteously to resident enquiries,concernsand requests
Support residents to access village services,technologyand wellbeing programs
Assistwith onboarding and orientation for new residents to ensure a smooth transition into village life
AdministrationandCommunication
Manage reception functions including phones, emails, room bookings,mailand general administration
Maintainaccurateresident records and village information systems
Update digital display boards, newsletters,noticesand village communications
LifestyleandEvent Support
Support the delivery of village activities,eventsand resident wellbeing initiatives
Assistwith event planning, room setup,registrationsand resident participation
Encourage residents to engage in social and community activities
Support transport arrangements and resident attendance at village events whererequired
Resident Support
Assistresidents with day-to-day enquiries and practical support needs
Work collaboratively with village teams to ensure residents receivetimelyassistance
Support residents with accessing amenities,servicesand community resources
Help create a safe,inclusiveand connected village environment
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
Build positive relationships with residents, families,contractorsand village teams
Assistin resolving operational issues and escalating concerns where appropriate
Provide support and leave coverage for fellow Resident Services Officers whenrequired
SafetyandWorkplace Culture
Promote a safe,cleanand welcoming environment
Follow workplace health and safety requirements and report hazards appropriately
What Youwill Bring

You will also need:
Experience incustomer service, reception,administrationor hospitality
Experience in age care,retirementliving, hospitality or community services is highly desirable
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
A genuine passion for supporting older people
Confidence using Microsoft Office andCRMdigital systems
Current unrestricted Driver'sLicense isrequired

The Royal Children's Hospital (RCH) has been providing outstanding care for Victoria's children and their families for over 147 years.
We are the major specialist paediatric hospital in Victoria and our care extends to children from Tasmania, southern New South Wales and other states around Australia and overseas.
With a passionate, highly skilled and committed staff campus wide of over 5,000, we provide a full range of clinical services, tertiary care and health promotion and prevention programs for children and young people.
We are the designated state-wide major trauma centre for paediatrics in Victoria and a Nationally Funded Centre for cardiac and liver transplantation.
When it comes to training and research we partner with the very best. Our campus partners, the Murdoch Childrens Research Institute (MCRI) and The University of Melbourne Department of Paediatrics, along with the RCH Foundation, are on site with the hospital in Parkville. Together, we are committed to improving the health outcomes for children today and in the future.
In 2016–17, more than 85,654 children attended our Emergency Department, 322,291 specialist clinic appointments were held which was almost 70,000 more than the previous year, more than 17,000 surgeries were performed and more than 48,552 children were admitted to our wards.
