Who We're looking for
We’re seeking Full-Time Resident Service Coordinator that empowers lives by identifying the needs of residents and utilizing community resources to meet those needs, while strengthening residents’ support networks to enable them to live independently and enhance their quality of life. The goal of the RSC program is the self-actualization of residents. Resident Service coordinators work in conjunction with the Property Manager to support a mutually respectful, collaborative relationship.
Key Responsibilities
Establish links to community agencies and service providers.
Develop resource directories.
Provide basic case management and referral services.
Monitor the ongoing provision of services from outside agencies.
Distribute consumer information often available free from organizations such as State and local agencies, the American Association of Retired Persons, the National Council on Aging, senior centers, legal services offices, and the services or programs themselves (such as Social Security, Medicare and AHCCCS).
Help resident groups with activities and community issues.
Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent and a minimum of one year of experience as a resident services coordinator, peer support specialist, or similar role.
Peer Support Certificate highly preferred.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
Must have a fingerprint clearance card issued by the AZ Department of Public Safety or eligible to receive one within eight (8) weeks of hire
