We are hiring a Resident Heavy Duty Mechanic to troubleshoot and deliver fast, effective solutions that keep our customers equipment moving in and around Golden.

Step into a role where your expertise truly matters. We need Heavy Duty Mechanics who excel when working independently and can hit the ground running to create instant value for our customers.

Your work will include:

  • Field diagnosis and running repairs of CAT Equipment in field

  • Interface with customers, products and sales support

  • Large‑scale overhauls and rebuilds

  • Component replacements

  • Completing required paperwork and maintaining clear customer communication

Specific Skills & Experience:

  • Interprovincial Journeyperson Heavy Duty Mechanic/(HET) Certification

  • Valid driver’s license with a successful recent drivers abstract (5 Yr)

  • Experience with troubleshooting and repair of Power Systems and/or Marine equipment

  • Transmission or Hydraulic testing

  • Previous gas engine and power generation experience would be considered an asset

  • Computer literacy along with Finning S-level courses

Important Information:

  • Please be advised, the successful candidate for this position will reside in Golden

  • A condition of employment includes the ability to obtain Customer Site Access (includes Drug & Alcohol, and Fitness testing) and the ability to wear a respirator

Union Membership: This is a unionized position. Union dues will be deducted from your pay upon hire. Terms of employment are governed by a collective agreement.
