Job Description

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Geological Engineering

  • 15+ years overall experience in civil engineering, with

    strong focus on tunneling.

    ·

  • At least 10 years in tunnel design and construction

    supervision, including TBM, drill & blast, and NATM

    ·

  • Demonstrated leadership experience in resident

    engineering or site supervision roles under FIDIC or

    equivalent contract conditions

    ·

  • Proven capability to manage HSE compliance, tunnel

    risks (e.g., rock burst, water ingress), and contractor

    interface

    ·

  • Involvement in tunneling in complex geological

    formations (e.g., fault zones, high groundwater

    pressure)

    ·

  • Familiarity with environmental and social safeguards in

    tunnel construction under donor-funded (e.g., ADB,

    World Bank) projects

    ·

  • Experience in resolving claims, disputes, and contract

    variations related to tunneling works

  • In-depth knowledge of tunnel excavation and support systems (NATM, shotcrete, rock bolts, segmental lining)

  • Construction sequencing, scheduling, and cost control.

  • Geotechnical instrumentation and monitoring

  • HSE protocols for confined spaces and high-risk environments
