Job Description

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering

  • Master’s Degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Hydraulic Engineering, or Water Resources (preferred)

  • Minimum 10–15 years of professional experience in dam engineering projects.

  • At least 5 years as Resident Engineer, Site Engineer, or Construction Supervision Engineer for dam works

  • Proven experience in one or more of the following:

Concrete gravity dams, embankment dams, or RCC dams

Spillways, intake structures, outlet works, and diversion tunnels

Foundation treatment (grouting, cutoff walls, drainage systems)

  • Experience supervising:

Contractor’s construction activities

Quality control and quality assurance programs

Construction methods, sequencing, and temporary works

  • Experience in hydropower or multipurpose dam projects is an advantage

  • Strong knowledge of: Dam construction methods and materials; Geotechnical and hydraulic engineering principles; Dam safety requirements and risk management

  • Ability to review and interpret design drawings, specifications, and technical reports.

  • Excellent site supervision and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong understanding of dam safety requirements, construction monitoring, and instrumentation

  • Competence in progress monitoring, reporting, and documentation.

  • Proficient in engineering software and MS Office applications.

  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple site issues simultaneously.
