We are seeking an experienced Resident Engineer to join our team. As a Resident Engineer, you will be responsible for providing the technical support regarding our customer requests You will also be responsible for the contact between J&J and MAG45 for operational and technical on-site related topics.
Responsibilities:
Provide technical support and guidance to construction teams on-site.
Oversee the construction process and ensure that all work is completed according to plans and specifications.
Monitor progress and keep stakeholders informed of project status.
Identify potential problems and suggest solutions to ensure the project is completed on time and within budget.
Ensure that all work complies with relevant regulations and standards.
Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication throughout the project.
Manage project documentation and ensure that all records are up to date.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a technical area (In Germany: Abgeschlossenes Studium im Bereich Wirtschafts- oder Ingenieurwesen oder vergleichbare kaufmännische Ausbildung, z.B. Industriekaufmann)
3 to 5 years of experience in a technical environment (Mehrjährige Berufserfahrung, idealerweise mit Vorkenntnissen betreffend Dreh-, Schneid-, Fräswerkzeugen oder Zerspanungswesen)
Strong technical knowledge and understanding of construction principles and practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage and motivate teams.
Excellent time management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Experience using project management software and tools.
