JOIN CANNON as a RESIDENT ENGINEER in VENTURA, CALIFORNIA Ventura lies 30 miles south of Santa Barbara, located between the foothills of the Los Padres National Forest and the scenic Pacific Ocean. RESIDENT ENGINEER JOB SUMMARY
Serves as the Resident Engineer for CM projects, overseeing all aspects of construction management and contract administration for a variety of public works projects. Independently manages project execution, representing Cannon in interactions with public agencies, consultants, and contractors. Responsibilities include contract planning and execution, schedule review and analysis, change order management, coordination with utility companies, materials and soils testing, special inspections, and field oversight. Conducts inspections, supervises staff inspectors, and ensures coordination between departments. May conduct business development efforts by establishing new contacts, maintaining client relationships, and marketing construction management (CM) projects.
