Specialty Trained Doctors ST5 + and above are invited to join the Bank for ad-hoc shifts in Paediatrics/Neonatal at The Portland's Hospital

The country’s large provider of private patient funded complex care. With our network of hospitals, urgent care centre, diagnostic centres and outpatient facilities own and operated by HCA UK, we couldn’t do this with our expert colleagues, driving the highest standards of care.

  • Location: The Portland's Hospital, London

  • Rewards: BANK membership - attractive hourly rates, paid weekly.

  • Availability: Weekdays and Weeknights Shifts Available

What You Will Bring:

  • Full GMC registration with a licence to practise in the UK.

  • Completion of Foundation Training, with ideally a minimum of four additional years' experience in Paediatrics or recognised Specialist Training.

  • Demonstrable experience managing a broad range of paediatric and neonatal presentations, including acutely unwell and post-operative paediatric patients.

  • Confidence and competence in leading paediatric resuscitation scenarios and supporting neonatal resuscitation when required.

  • MRCPCH (or equivalent postgraduate qualification).

Applicants will need:

  • GMC Registration and License to Practice in the UK

  • Post qualification exams, relevant to specialist area e.g MRCP

Selection process:

CV review, a bank interview with a lead Doctor, and onboarding pre-employment checks. This end-to-end process can take on average 4-6 weeks.
