Job Description

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Full-Time

Tuscan Gardens is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. This full-time position offers a dynamic work environment with a combination of first and second shifts, providing flexibility and variety in your daily responsibilities. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with physician orders and established care plans
  • Float between shifts as needed, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability
  • Monitor residents’ health status and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate team members
  • Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
  • Document resident care activities thoroughly and in compliance with regulatory standards
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Assist with resident admissions, discharges, and transfers as required
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents and staff

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Valid and current LPN license in the state of employment
  • Prior experience in long-term care or a similar healthcare setting preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexibly across different shifts, including both first and second shifts
  • Compassionate, patient-focused approach to resident care
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations and safety standards
  • Excellent organizational and documentation skills
