
Samaritan Daytop Village operates transitional housing programs for single adults and families experiencing homelessness across all five boroughs of New York City. The Residential Aide supports this mission by assisting with client intake, monitoring resident safety and well-being, enforcing facility policies, and maintaining a secure and respectful living environment. The Residential Aide role involves direct interaction with clients navigating complex challenges and requires a consistent presence, attention to detail, and the ability to remain calm, level-headed, and professional in emotionally charged or unpredictable situations.
This is a full-time non-exempt role with an hourly rate of $20.40 (annualized at 35 hours a week to $37,131.50) with a full benefits package. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance, 25 days of paid time off, access to a retirement account with an employer to match, and tuition reimbursement.
This role is located in BedStuy, Brooklyn and has a schedule of Sunday-Thursday 12am-8am.
