Residence Counselor- Full Time

Responsibilities of the Residence Counselor are to provide services to adults who have a diagnosis of mental illness and living in a group home. Specific duties of the Residence Counselor included:

• Provide supportive counseling;

• Providing rehabilitation skills such as teaching of daily living skills including medication management and coping skills, crisis intervention and prevention;

• Recreation activities for socialization and stress reduction; and

• Maintaining a healthy and clean environment for our clients, ensuring clients are doing their chores correctly and assisting with cleaning activities.

• Promote a culture of inclusion and belonging.

• Provide transportation to clients using the agency’s vehicles.

Requirements

Skills/Qualifications for the Residence Counselor include:

• High school diploma required, college classes in human services preferred.
• Demonstrated ability in helping others.
• Valid and insurable driver's license. Agency vehicles are available for transporting clients.
• Experience working with people who have a diagnosis of mental illness or other human service experience.
• Both the ability to work independently and as a team member.
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
• The ability to be organized and have good time management skills.

Jones Home Schedule and Salary

$21.46/hour, 40 hours per week. $44,636.80/annual equivalent.

Sunday 9:00am-5:00pm

Monday 3:00pm-11:00pm

Tuesday 3:00pm-11:00pm

Wednesday 9:00am-5:00pm

Thursday 11:00am- 7:00pm

Friday and Saturday- Off

1574 Union Residence Salary and Schedule:

$21.46/hour, 40 hours per week. $44,636.80/annual equivalent.

Sunday 3:00pm-11:00pm

Monday 3:00pm-11:00pm

Tuesday 3:00pm-11:00pm

Wednesday 3:00pm-11:00pm

Thursday 3:00pm-11:00pm

Friday and Saturday Off

Dominion House Salary and Schedule:

$22.08/hour; 40 hours per week; $45,926.40/annual equivalent.

Saturday 3:00pm-11:00pm

Sunday 9:00am-5:00pm

Monday 3:00pm-11:00pm

Tuesday 2:00pm-10:00pm

Wednesday 9:00am-5:00pm

Thursday and Friday-Off
