As a full time Reset Sales Specialist for Acosta you'll have the chance to influence an entire industry. How's that for impact? We are looking for seasoned professionals to join our winning team. You will act as the primary contact to execute in-store shelving standards, selling promotional opportunities, and promoting our client brands in smaller accounts like convenience and gas stores, small grocery stores, drug stores etc. in the New Jersey market areas.
This position requires lifting, loading, pushing and pulling cases weighing from 20 - 50 pounds repeatedly throughout an 8 hour work period. Also requires bending reaching and squatting to move and adjust products.
· Stimulate market growth through coverage of Independent Retail C-Stores that are supplied by cash & carry, grocery stores, and c-store distributors in assigned geography
· Manage sales, distribution and merchandising of our brand portfolio within an assigned territory
· Conduct professional product presentations to current and prospective retail customers
· Achieving sales goals and brand building presence
· Building lasting relationships with store managers/owners by providing expert consumer insights and advice
· Utilize iPad technology for reporting sales made daily and weekly consistently demonstrating company values in all business interactions
· Ability to operate under minimal supervision
· Regular, reliable, predictable attendance
· 0-2 years of experience in retail, Client, or food broker
Bilingual-Spanish a plus
· Time management skills
· Ability to communicate effectively
· Professional sales approach
· Knowledgeable and passionate about exceptional client service and exceeding sales goals
· Outgoing and assertive personality
· Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
· Must be able to stand and/or walk for long periods of time
· Must have a valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance
· Must have a personal vehicle to access multi-store locations within assigned shift
· iPad technology skills a plus

· Working for a retail business or grocery store (e.g., understanding store operations, knowing the backroom and inventory, stocking aisles and shelves, making products look attractive, rotating products, cleaning shelves, etc.)
