Permian Resources (NYSE: PR) is currently seeking a Reservoir Engineering Technicianwho brings strong analytical capability, data management skills, and a foundational understanding ofupstream oil and gas and/orcorporate planning workflows. This role will support enterprise data systems, budgeting cycles, reporting processes, performance analysis, and development planning. The ideal candidate combines technicalproficiency, strong attention to detail, and the ability to convert complex datasets into clear, actionable insights that enhancedecision makingacross Engineering, Budget & Planning,Corporate Financeand Operationsteams
General responsibilities:
Serve as a bridge between technical data systems and corporate planning processes, ensuring data accuracy, traceability, and analytical rigor.
Integrate data from multiple internal systems to produce reliable, unified datasets for planning, engineering, and analytical use.
Support corporate planning cycles including budgeting, forecasting, monthly performance reviews, and scenario analysis.
Prepare deliverables for senior leadership including dashboards, variance analysis, operational metrics, and development outlooks.
Assistin building,maintaining, andoptimizingscalable data pipelines and processes supporting enterprise data needs.
Support development and enhancement ofDatabricksbaseddata solutions under the guidance of senior data staff.
Convert raw data into usable formats for data consumers
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve data-related issues and implement improvements in data workflows.
Automate recurring planning workflows (forecast pulls, dashboards, update cycles) to improve speed and consistency.
Work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Minimum Qualifications:
5+ years of oil and gas industry experience, with a minimum of 3 years focused on data analytics and reservoir engineering support.
Strong analytical and data management skills, with the ability to interpret real-time and historical datasets to inform decisions.
Experience with Power BI, Spotfire, SQL,orsimilardataanalysisandframeworktools.
Strong technicalexpertisein data management, analytics, and automation tools.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work cross-functionally to address technical challenges in a fast-paced environment
