Reservations Manager – Service that soars with Microflite

Location: Moorabbin Airport, in Melbourne’s South-East

Position: Full Time Permanent (1 Position Available)

As the Reservations Manager, you will play a key role in leading and enhancing the customer journey across our Australian operations. Responsible for the overall performance of the Reservations function, you will lead a dedicated team to deliver seamless, accurate and personalised booking experiences for our customers, clients and partners.

Working closely with Flight Operations and wider business teams, you will ensure customer requirements are expertly coordinated with operational capabilities, supporting the delivery of safe, efficient and premium aviation experiences. From managing complex bookings and VIP movements to improving systems, processes and service standards, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on how we engage with our customers.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced operational environment, enjoys developing people, and is passionate about delivering exceptional service while driving continuous improvement.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead, mentor and develop the Reservations team, fostering a collaborative, customer-focused culture.
• Oversee the day-to-day operation of the Reservations function, ensuring enquiries,
  bookings, quotations and customer requests are managed accurately and efficiently.
• Support the coordination of complex bookings, VIP clients, custom charters, group movements and major events.
• Work closely with Flight Operations to align customer requirements with aircraft availability, crew resources and operational needs.
• Manage team rostering, resource planning, training and performance to ensure consistent service delivery.
• Oversee reservation systems, booking platforms and customer information to maintain accurate products, pricing and availability.
• Monitor booking trends, customer feedback and operational performance to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Manage escalated customer enquiries, complaints and service recovery, ensuring positive outcomes and continuous improvement.
• Develop and improve reservations processes, procedures and workflows to enhance efficiency and consistency.
• Support reporting, financial administration and operational initiatives that contribute to business growth and an exceptional customer experience.

• Experience in reservations, aviation, tourism, hospitality, events or a similar customer-focused environment.
• Confidence using reservation systems, CRM platforms and digital tools, with strong computer literacy and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
• Flexibility, adaptability and a hands-on approach, with a willingness to support the team and broader operations when required.
