CONTRACT DETAILS: Permanent

POSITION LOCATION: Windhoek, Khomas, Namibia

POSITON NAME: Reservationist Consultant

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Assist the Reservations department with for all reservations from tour operators, travel agents, online booking platforms - OTA's, corporates, website as well direct channels.
• Assist the reservations team for the day to day making, confirming, cancelling and invoicing of reservations.
• Assist with admin recording of debt management.
• Maintain relationships with key persons both internally and externally.
• Yield Management – ensure all provisional bookings are confirmed or released within specified time frame and manage yield in terms of booking types.
• Maintain good relationships with travel agents and tour operators
• Provide support to the Reservations team (mentors and mentees) as needed.
• Assistance of all arrival information for all properties and ensure our operations department has all relevant information well in advance.
• Assist with any other tasks required by management.

Requirements

• Must be a Namibian citizen or permanent resident.
• Driver's license would be of advantage.
• Experience in the Hospitality Industry would be of advantage.
• Must have excellent knowledge of MS programs.
• Excellent spoken and written English, which includes telephone manners.
• Strong ethics and reliability.
• Outstanding organizational and time-management abilities
