About Madinat Jumeirah:

Set along a two-kilometre stretch of private coastline, Madinat Jumeirah is a beachfront resort comprising four distinctive hotels. Each offers uninterrupted views of the Arabian Gulf and the iconic Jumeirah Burj Al Arab, with experiences ranging from the contemporary elegance of Jumeirah Al Naseem to the majestic Arabesque charm of Jumeirah Al Qasr. Guests can also enjoy the serene waterfront setting of Jumeirah Mina Al Salam and the secluded Arabian houses of Jumeirah Dar Al Masyaf. About the Job:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Reservations Agent- Rooms to join Madinat Jumeirah Resort. The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:

  • Responding to all email inquiries within 24 hours, with priority given to current and upcoming bookings, while maintaining a consistently professional tone.

  • Answering incoming calls using proper greetings and adhering to IFH and LQA service standards.

  • Collecting, updating, and maintaining complete guest information in Opera, including profiles, contact details, travel documents, flight details, special occasions, and preferences.

  • Reviewing all reservation correspondence to identify special requests or instructions and ensuring this information is communicated promptly to relevant departments.

  • Managing reservation updates such as last-minute changes, cancellations, payment guarantees, no-show follow-ups, and reporting unpaid or unresponsive online bookings.

  • Ensuring accurate financial and administrative processes, including reconciling commissionable bookings, applying correct rates, matching invoices with Opera, and maintaining strict confidentiality of guest and company records.

About You

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

  • Experience in hospitality or similar customer service role

  • Educated to college degree Communicates Effectively (eMail, Telephone – Listening Skills, Writing Skills and Verbal communication etc.)

  • Lead by Example

  • Team Player - Collaborates positively and effectively with others and team
