Position SummaryThe University of Alabama at Birmingham, Med - Nephrology, is in search of a Researcher to join their team. This position will be responsible for maintaining the transgenic mouse colonies, as well as assisting with histological analyses and conducting flow cytometry experiments. General ResponsibilitiesAs a Researcher, you will play a key role in driving scientific discovery by independently leading and executing research projects. This professional-level position demands a high degree of expertise and judgement in designing studies, analyzing data, and may involve assistants in publishing findings. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage project timelines, and contribute to grant writing and securing funding for future research. Depending on the research focus, this position may involve research collaborator contact, research animal contact, and/or specimens.Perform other duties as assigned. Salary Range: $ 50,050- $ 81,330
QualificationsMaster's degree in a related field OR Bachelor's degree in related field and two (2) years of related experience OR Associate's degree in related field and four (4) years of related experience required or High School diploma or GED and six (6) years of related experience required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement. Preferences Biology related degree is preferred.
