The Applications Research Team within our elite Forensic Research Group is looking for a brilliant Researcher to drive the future of digital forensics.

In this role, you won't just look at data—you will decode the hidden digital footprints left behind by the world’s most widely used software.

Our team specializes in the deep-dive analysis, reverse engineering, and decoding of complex applications across mobile platforms. Your mission will be to tear down binary formats, dissect custom encryption protocols, and reconstruct application data from the ground up. If you look at an encrypted database or an undocumented binary format and see a puzzle that must be solved, this is where you belong.

What you will love about this role:

Bleeding-Edge Tech Stack: Break open complex, obfuscated applications using advanced static and dynamic analysis.

Next-Gen AI Workflow: You will work in a highly modernized research environment, leveraging AI agents, LLMs, and custom Model Context Protocol (MCP) integrations (like IDA and JADX MCPs) to supercharge your reverse engineering and accelerate discovery.

Impactful Coding: Translate your research breakthroughs directly into high-quality production code (primarily C#) that will be deployed globally to solve real-world cases.

Continuous Innovation: Move fast between hunting for hidden application artifacts, reverse-engineering proprietary file formats, and building intelligent automation tools.

Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience from an elite IDF tech unit
  • 3+ years of proven experience in security research, reverse engineering, or digital forensics
  • Hands-on experience with static and dynamic reverse engineering tools—if IDA Pro, JADX, Frida, and Ghidra are your bread and butter, you’ll fit right in.
  • Strong programming skills backed by solid object-oriented design experience (C# Prefered)
  • Familiarity with or strong interest in integrating LLMs, agentic workflows, and AI tools into your daily research and coding pipelines.
  • An unstoppable curiosity and passion for solving highly complex puzzles.

Advantages that will make you stand out:

  • Experience with mobile application security, sandbox bypassing, or root/jailbreak detection.
  • Deep understanding of internal database structures (SQLite, Realm, etc.).
  • Familiarity with cryptographic concepts and custom protocol analysis.
