KWS SAAT SE & Co. KGaA is looking for a dedicated Technical Assistant (m/f/d) to join our Marker Service department at our headquarters in Einbeck, Lower Saxony, at the earliest possible date. This full-time position is limited until September 2027

The role involves performing simplex marker analyses, including the following tasks:

• Preparation of samples for analysis
• Performing PCR reactions for KASP, ddPCR, and gel-based markers
• Handling and maintenance of laboratory equipment, pipetting robots, and analysis systems
• Analysis and evaluation of results using appropriate software applications
• Maintenance of requirement- and application-related data pools in relevant databases

Your profile:

• Completed vocational training as an ATA/BTA or a comparable qualification, ideally with some exposure to plants and seeds
• Initial experience in molecular biology is an advantage
• Solid knowledge of MS Office, as well as experience with databases and strong technical understanding
• Fluent German and basic knowledge of English
• High level of motivation and the ability to remain focused and productive under pressure
• Reliable, independent working style and strong team skills
