Looking for a Research Technician to join King lab in Pediatrics Infectious Diseases department. We are a highly cooperative and motivated group studying the responses of bone marrow and hematopoietic stem cells in infection. Using murine infection modules, flow cytometry, and molecular biology techniques, we occupy a unique space i the intersection of genetics and immunology. Curios, committed, and driven individuals with excellent collaboration and communication skills are encouraged to apply. Job Duties

• General lab duties such as restocking supplies, autoclaving pipette tips, and maintaining freezers.
• Standard molecular biology techniques including PCR, cloning, DNA/RNA isolation, ELISA.
• Animal work including mouse breeding, weaning, genotyping, bleeding, and dissection.
• Organizing lab duties and antibody and animal inventories.
• Ordering supplies.
• Serving as a point of contact to neighboring labs, sales representatives, and the rest of the infectious disease division.
• Perform other job related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a Basic Science or related field. Four years of related experience may substitute for degree requirement.
• No experience required.
