Job Role / Responsibilities:You will be responsible to:Prepare, compile, and edit routine reports, including monthly, quarterly, bi-annual, annual, progress, donor, and project reports;coordinate with field teams and relevant units to obtain complete and accurate inputs;synthesize activities, progress, results, challenges, lessons learned, and recommendations into coherent narratives;maintain reporting calendars, templates, version control, and records of submitted reports;draft comprehensive reports for qualitative, quantitative, and mixed-methods studies;develop and refine report sections, including background, methods, results, discussion, conclusions, and recommendations;work with investigators and program team to interpret findings and ensure that conclusions are supported by the data;integrate tables, figures, themes, participant quotations, and other evidence appropriately;address internal and external review comments and finalize reports for dissemination;conduct focused literature searches and synthesize relevant evidence;draft, edit, and format manuscripts in collaboration with investigators and co-authors;prepare tables, figures, abstracts, references, cover letters, and other submission materials;ensure adherence to journal author guidelines and relevant reporting standards;coordinate revisions and responses to co-author, editor, and peer-reviewer comments; maintain a manuscript submission tracker;review and synthesize quantitative and qualitative data received from field teams and data personnel;develop clear, accurate, and visually effective presentations, dashboards, charts, infographics, briefs, and key messages;tailor content for investigators, programme teams, donors, community stakeholders, conferences, and other technical or non-technical audiences;present findings when required and incorporate feedback into final materials.
Eligibility Criteria / Requirements:Master's degree in public health, epidemiology, biostatistics, health policy and management, or another relevant field. Formal training in research methods, scientific writing, or epidemiology will be an advantage;2-3 years of relevant experience in health, programme, or community-based research. Demonstrated experience in technical or research report writing is required;experience drafting or co-authoring manuscripts for peer-reviewed journals and preparing data-driven presentations is strongly preferred. A publication record will be an advantage;Knowledge of qualitative, quantitative, and mixed-methods research designs; strong analytical, synthesis, and interpretation skills; excellent scientific and technical writing, editing, and proofreading skills; ability to translate field data and research findings into concise reports, manuscripts, presentations, charts, and key messages; knowledge of research ethics, referencing, and journal submission requirements; proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; familiarity with reference-management software;working knowledge of SPSS, Stata, R, NVivo, ATLAS.ti, or similar software will be an advantage;strong interpersonal, communication, coordination, and time-management skills;ability to manage multiple deliverables and meet deadlines; excellent team player with attention to detail.
