The Adult and Child Center for Outcomes Research and Delivery Science (ACCORDS) is seeking a full-time Research Services Entry Professional to assist with the management and coordination of data access, acquisition of data resources, management of data use agreements, and administrative activities related to the research process.The person in this position will work closely with the ACCORDS’s Secondary Data Resource (SDR) Core. SDR provides a number of unique services to help build a vigorous and supportive research community across CU Anschutz. This role will also support research at the Center for Advancing Lung and Intensive Care Outcomes (CALICO) based in the Division of Pulmonary, Allergy and Critical Care Medicine (PACCM). The effort for this role will be 50% with the SDR Core and 50% with CALICO. The Research Services Entry Professional will support and report to the CALICO Program Manager. These services include:
Access to valuable data resources
Analytic research partnerships
Research and methodology training and support
Research computing infrastructure and expertise
Key Responsibilities:
Data Compliance & Regulatory Oversight (50%)
Maintain inventory of data use agreements (DUA), licenses, and data resources within the department
Filing and maintenance of DUAs for renewals, notifications of changes, tracking of users, and certifications and destruction of data as required
Manage documentation with the Office of Research and Sponsored Projects related to unfunded agreement submissions and associated paperwork
Facilitate efficient sharing and distribution of data resources in compliance with DUA restrictions
Data Management, Security, & Access (30%)
Assist in the maintenance of data management plans pertaining to data security and protection of the data in collaboration with University IT
Work with campus IT providers to guide management of secure file storage and permissions to enable access to appropriate and approved data resources
Record the initial receipt of data files and load, process, and output data into various file formats and maintain data documentation
Research Operations & Support (20%)
Identify new data resources to determine the usefulness/need of the resource
Assist study team members in drafting data access, management, and security plans (e.g., for grant proposals, Institutional Review Board (IRB) applications)
Assist with planning/coordinating schedules, recruiting participants, and other relevant research support tasks.
Work Location:
Hybrid – this role is eligible for a hybrid schedule of 2-3 days per week on campus and as needed for in-person meetings.

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in public health, public administration, social/behavioral sciences, physical sciences, nursing, healthcare, finance, accounting, business administration, business, or a directly related field from an accredited institution.
A combination of education and related technical/military/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree on a year for year basis.
Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with the content, management, and processing of large administrative or sampled datasets from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ), and major private payer datasets (e.g., Merative MarketScan)
Experience with research proposal and data management systems at CU Anschutz (e.g., InfoEd, REDCap)
At least 1 year of experience in health services research
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written form
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to prioritize tasks for meeting project deadlines
Superb interpersonal skills
Strong work ethic
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively

Anticipated Pay Range:
The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as HIRING RANGE
$49,899 to $66,865 annually.
The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position may be eligible for overtime compensation, depending on the level.
