    • Welding physics
    • Plasma physics
    • Welding process characterization
    • Filler metal interactions
  • Hands-on experience with:
    • Welding arc analysis
    • Process monitoring
    • Robotic welding systems
  • Experience in scientific programming and data analysis using Python.
  • Strong knowledge of metallurgy and the relationship between welding, microstructure, and mechanical properties.
  • Experience managing industrial or applied research projects.
  • Knowledge of experimental techniques such as hardness, tensile, impact, fatigue, and residual stress testing.
  • Excellent communication skills in English. Swedish is considered an advantage.
  • Experience with AI or machine learning applications in welding research is meritorious.

What we offer:

  • A highly specialized and collaborative research environment.
  • Opportunities to work with advanced laboratory technologies and global R&D projects.
