Center for Urban Science + Progress at NYU Tandon School of Engineering is seeking to hire a part-time Research Scholar to work with Takahiro Yabe.

The Resilient Urban Networks (RUN) Lab, based in the Department of Technology Management and Innovation and the Center for Urban Science + Progress (CUSP), studies how people move through and depend on cities, and how urban systems respond to shocks such as disasters and new technologies.

In compliance with NYC’s Pay Transparency Act, the hourly base salary for this position is $26.37 depending on the candidate’s experience and qualification.
The expected start date is November 1, 2026 with the expectation that thie position will run through May 31, 2027. The part-time position would require a work schedule of approximately 10 hours per week.
Candidates should have at least a Master's in Urban Data Science or a related field and 2 year (s) of experience required. Candidates will be required to present eligibility to work in the United States.
