PART TIME RESEARCH SCHOLAR

New York University Tandon School of Engineering

The Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at NYU Tandon School of Engineering is seeking to hire a Part-Time Research Scholar in Electrical Engineering to join an exciting project on “Nonlinear and Time-Dependent Systems”.

Expectations

Candidates will engage in original interdisciplinary research. In addition to taking on a leadership role in ongoing projects, they will have opportunities to pursue research activities of their choice within the scope of NYU's Electrical and Computer Engineering Department. The candidate will also work closely with Professor Unnikrishna Pillai on solutions for nonlinear and time-dependent systems”

Salary:

In compliance with NYC’s Pay Transparency Act, the hourly rate for this position begins at $29.50 - $34.34 per hour, depending on the candidate’s experience and qualification. Part time appointments would require a work schedule of approximately 20 to 27 hours per week.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Masters Degree ( PhD preferred) with expertise in Electrical and Computer Engineering or related field;
  • Excellent communication skills;
  • Demonstrated program coordination experience, ideally in an academic setting.
  • Candidates must present proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
