Nemours is seeking to hire a Research Program Manager - Radiology.

The primary function of the Research Program Manager -Radiology is to provide direct administrative and management support to the Director of Radiology Research by managing and performing Radiology Research Support Services Core operations. This position serves as the administrative manager for programmatic initiatives that involve the Enterprise Radiology Research Program, including the components of implementation of research strategies. Develops workflows and composes and prepares communications including graphics, charts and special project reports on behalf of the Director and for the area. Facilitates paperwork of a confidential and/or sensitive nature. Implements and improves operational practices and procedures. Routinely multi-tasks, solves complex problems and is open to constant challenge and change. Position requires knowledge of the research environment, policies and standard practices, and Radiology department workflow, practices, and all imaging modalities. Ability to work independently and prioritize is essential. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel programs and ability to learn other needed software programs is required. Ability to achieve results in the absence of explicit guidance and/or instruction is expected.

Primary Responsibilities:

  1. Provide oversight and operation of Radiology Research Support Services Core, including coordination and communication of activities for all relevant Nemours sites; prepare monthly, quarterly and annual reports as required.
  2. Serve as a liaison to the Sponsored Projects Administration (SPA) to provide pricing for use in preparation of grant budgets and the submission of research grants. Work with SPA to assure prompt and accurate accounting related to funded projects.
  3. Review all research studies involving radiology services and medical images to offer guidance to ensure appropriate utilization of resources for successful study procedures; serve as liaison between research administration, investigative team, and radiology staff.
  4. Provide regulatory oversight for research activities and support personnel in facilitating research.
  5. Serve as a liaison on designated committees and teams.
  6. Develop administrative/operational systems to streamline core function development, administration, and work to ensure the growth of research at Nemours.
  7. Oversee the functions of the Research Image Management Core, ensuring efficient communication between it and the Research Support Core.
  8. Assist with the development of standard operating procedures and policies around the use of the Core; maintain them annually and as needed.
  9. Maintain the center or lab website and social media presence, including regular updates and enhancements and assure that the Center’s technology remains current, evaluating programs and platforms and monitoring appropriateness and use.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred
  • RRT or other medical imaging license (CNMT,US,MRI or CT) preferred
  • Knowledgeable about research procedures and processes
