CON | Research Group

The Research Program Manager will oversee the daily operations of research studies conducted by Dr. Jocelyn Anderson in the College of Nursing. This role is responsible for managing research projects, supervising students, and serving as a liaison with partners and colleagues across the College of Nursing, UAMS, and external collaborators and consultants. The Research Program Manager will also provide grant management support, oversee grant budgets in partnership with UAMS Grants Accounting, and coordinate purchasing and contracts. Additionally, this position will monitor project timelines and ensure that all study deliverables are completed on schedule.

Responsibilities:
Provides post-award grants management support in collaboration with UAMS Grants Accounting and ORSP
Reviews grant requirements and develops submission checklists and timelines
Partners with the College of Nursing (CON) Business Office to manage post-award budgets
Oversees internal and external progress reporting
Coordinates and manages external contracts in collaboration with the CON Business Office
Supervises and trains research staff and students on study SOPs
Leads team meetings, tracks action items, and supports onboarding of new staff in coordination with UAMS HR and CON Business Office
Assists PIs with participant recruitment, screening, and enrollment
Administers surveys and conducts participant interviews
Schedules and manages study visits and maintains study calendars
Maintains accurate and organized study records
Collaborates closely with PIs to ensure data accuracy and completeness
Manages participant gift card logs and petty cash accounts
Provides administrative support including scheduling meetings and preparing presentations and documents
Performs other duties as assigned
