The Research / Pre-Due Diligence Analyst is responsible for conducting preliminary research and initial evaluation of potential projects, investments, or acquisitions. This role is essential for identifying risks, opportunities, and gathering key information to determine whether to proceed with the formal due diligence process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market and sector analysis to understand the target’s context.
  • Collect and evaluate preliminary financial, operational, and legal information.
  • Identify critical areas and potential risks requiring further analysis.
  • Prepare executive reports with findings and preliminary recommendations.
  • Support the definition of scope and requirements for the due diligence phase.
  • Coordinate with internal and external teams (legal, finance, operations) to obtain relevant information.
  • Maintain updated documentation and databases related to the analyses performed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in financial analysis, consulting, auditing, or M&A-related areas.
  • Strong knowledge of financial analysis and business evaluation.
  • Advanced analytical and research skills.
  • Ability to handle large volumes of information and synthesize it clearly.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and databases.
  • Advanced written and spoken English.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work within multidisciplinary teams.

Preferred Competencies:

  • Experience in due diligence or M&A processes.
  • Knowledge and experience in financial modeling.
  • Understand the importance of have a correct information management
  • Knowledge of Information Security and Data Protection
  • Correct Information Security Management
