Your opportunity:
The Rehabilitation Sciences Sector (RSS) in the Temerty Faculty of Medicine is a world leader in the delivery of rehabilitation sciences health professional programs and research. The RSS is comprised of four essential departments: Department of Occupational Science and Occupational Therapy (OSOT), Department of Physical Therapy (PT), Rehabilitation Sciences Institute (RSI), and the Department of Speech-Language Pathology (SLP).
Reporting to the Principal Investigator, the incumbent will support research related initiatives as part of an internationally recognized Canada Research Chair Program in Traumatic Brain Injury in Underserved Populations within the Acquired Brain Injury Research Lab in the Department of Occupational Science and Occupational Therapy and KITE Research Institute-UHN. You will implement qualitative and quantitative research methods, conduct literature/systematic reviews, manage research data, and draft manuscripts, reports, grant materials, and prepare presentations, ethics submissions; and be responsible for the overall operations of the lab. As Research Operations Officer, you will coordinate project activities and events, collaborate with internal and external partners, and contribute to knowledge translation initiatives, including website administration.
