Research Operations Assistant (Market Research)

In Poland - Warsaw

We are expanding our
small but growing in-house market research department with a Research Operations Assistant (Market Research) to support the US Life Sciences division. The Research Operations Assistant is part of our Market Research Center of Excellence that supports
consultants in day-to-day market research activities. The is an exciting
opportunity to learn and develop market research skills. The Research Operations Assistant will report to the Director of Market Research. Due to close collaboration with the U.S. team, this role operates on a shifted schedule of 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM (CET).

The salary for this position ranges from PLN 10 000 to PLN 12 000, depending on the candidate’s relevant experience, skill set, level of expertise and overall fit for the role. Additional factors such as industry background, technical competencies and interview performance may also influence the final offer. The compensation package at Simon-Kucher CBS consists of a gross base salary, a monthly remote work allowance and an annual bonus. The bonus is paid in December and is based on the results of a 360-degree performance evaluation.

How you will create an impact:
  • Panel management & interview scheduling: (85%)
    • Maintain market research respondent panels for qualitative interviews
    • Ensure panel member data is accurate and current
    • Foster and maintain positive relationships with panel members
    • Network/identify/onboard new panel members
    • Work directly with consulting staff to schedule and coordinate qualitative interviews
    • Track and process honoraria for participants
  • Training and development: (5%)
    • Contribute to best practice documentation & training
    • Coordinate compliance training for all market research
    • Adhere to both Simon-Kucher’s global data compliance policies, as well as market research compliance guidelines (CASRO, EPHMRA)
  • Request for proposals (RFP): (5%)
    • Review and edit RFPs for qualitative and quantitative market research
    • Solicit and compile vendor bids
    • Consult team on vendor selection, including appropriate method of recruitment
  • Vendor relationship management: (5%)
    • Build and maintain a database of third-party research vendors and independent contractors; ensure the database is up to date and accurate
    • Maintain vendor contact database
    • Solicit vendor evaluations and maintain feedback database
    • Negotiate annual contracts,
      renewals, and price negotiation
      within the market research bidding process
Your profile:
  • You bring at least two years of professional experience in an agency or company (in recruitment, meeting coordination or administrative support within a dynamic environment).
  • You demonstrated strong work ethic and reliability
  • You contribute to the organization organization & project management skills: this role requires strong organizational and project management skills to support multiple studies at one time (typically 6-8 at a time). You can multi-task and prioritize based on project needs.
  • You bring to the organization strong communication skills in English: you have solid written and verbal communication skills and you are able to communicate with brevity and impact regarding scheduling, recruitment, vendor recommendations, honoraria processing and panel maintenance.
  • Your interpersonal skills: you are a trusted partner to the consultants. You are comfortable making suggestions and proposing new ideas in a collaborative and professional manner.
  • Initiative: you are a self-starter that can receive guidance and run with it independently. You work well as an individual contributor as well as in a team environment.
  • You are detail-oriented: collaborating on multiple projects with various stakeholders at any given time requires strong attention to detail and comfort working with databases.
  • Experience working with healthcare industry stakeholders is considered an advantage.
