Department

Melbourne Sexual Health Centre (MSHC) has been in operation for more than 90 years having been established in 1917 as a specialised unit for the diagnosis and treatment of sexually transmitted infections (STIs). The service has established a reputation for clinical excellence by providing high-quality sexual health care.

MSHC provides clinical sexual health and HIV services for Victorians and has a strong research and education focus.

The Role

We are seeking a research nurse with proven experience in the areas of research and/or sexual health and/or clinical trials who fulfils the requirements of the position description.

This position is responsible to co-ordinate and the conduct of clinical trials/research projects in accordance with the trial protocols, and support to study investigators for the establishment and day to day management of concurrent clinical trials/research projects. This role is supported by Alfred Infectious Diseases Clinical Trials Nursing as per the PD

Skills

  • Experience in sexual health and/or research nursing and/or clinical trials
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to maintain study databases
  • Ability to prepare the material for qualitative and quantities research methods.
  • The successful applicant will meet the requirements of the attached position description
