The Role
We are currently seeking a motivated and efficient Research Nurse to work closely with the Professor of Cognitive Neurology at Macquarie University Health. This is an integral role in which you will actively contribute to clinical and research activities, preparation of relevant reports, undertaking core aspects of clinical and research work, clinical trials and contributing to report writing and data entry.
In this role, you will also assist in the coordination, management and conduct of clinical and research activities. This includes contributing to the development of projects and assisting with the coordination of the Cognitive Neurology Research Clinic and clinical trials.

To be considered for this position, you will demonstrate the below requirements in your resume
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
Experience and relevant training, preferably within a clinical research and/or clinical trials setting
Excellent organisational and time management skills and a proven ability to prioritise and multitask in a fast-paced environment and in critical incidents.
Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and exercise independent professional judgement and critical thinking
Demonstrated awareness of the principles of confidentiality, privacy, and information handling

The Royal Children's Hospital (RCH) has been providing outstanding care for Victoria's children and their families for over 147 years.
We are the major specialist paediatric hospital in Victoria and our care extends to children from Tasmania, southern New South Wales and other states around Australia and overseas.
With a passionate, highly skilled and committed staff campus wide of over 5,000, we provide a full range of clinical services, tertiary care and health promotion and prevention programs for children and young people.
We are the designated state-wide major trauma centre for paediatrics in Victoria and a Nationally Funded Centre for cardiac and liver transplantation.
