Job Description

Clients

Builds strong relationships with customers and can advise clients effectively on a course of action, adds insight to key client issues, and can identify and convert business development opportunities in accordance with Client First principles.Directly handles the (business) relationship with the client in all the research stages, provide and/or acquire information useful for the purposes of project closure and maintaining a full level of satisfaction of the client himself.Develops responsibility for sales budget

People

Takes an active role in managing other team members according to leadership behaviors and works with the team leader to share management responsibilities and ensure compliance with HR processesOrganizes delegation within the team and upwards appropriately (e.g. running project catch-ups with little input from the RD or SLL, …)Provides project guidance, support, and coaching to junior team members

Research

Guarantees the autonomous management and closure of research processes through a constant supervision of the workflow and an effectiveorganization of the activities of executives on projectsExecution of standardized and sometimes complex delivery processes and methods in a variety of contexts

Finances

With the supervision of own manager, works on the costs estimate for research projects and the relative financial offer to the client, ensuring projects profitabilityEnsure compliance with Ipsos internal Finances processes

Communication

Demonstrates effective communication skills, adapts communication style and tone according to audience and messageTakes active part to MarCom activities and becomes an Ipsos ambassador Receives briefing, analyzes and understands the client’s requests; converts the briefing into input for the working team, organizes and manages the activities to ensure closure of the project within the scheduled timing and expected level of qualityConstantly monitors the research activities in progress, handles communication with the field, analyzes the research data received, evaluates the same in view of the client’s requests and write the relative comments for multiple projects at the same timeAutonomously discuss the progress of the research with the client, shares the results step by step, collect input, proposes and/or discusses new projects, plans new activitiesManages project costs so that they are delivered within budget and challenges direct costs when neededBrings guidance to team members to prepare presentations and works on recommendations autonomously in implementing Story Telling principlesPlans presentations with clients; share with own contacts; presents the results to the client autonomously or together with line manager according to the project complexity and the state of the relationship with the clientParticipates in transversal activities e.g., sector-based initiatives, company related Marcom action plan. Requires around 5-7 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of experience and education. Specialism in research is necessaryStrong project management and planning skills, good communication and client-handling skills, shows commercial sensitivityAbility to coach and manage more junior members of staff, effective delegationAbility to work in an international environmentFluency in English
