Under the direct supervision of the Senior Research Manager, the Research Mangerwill contribute to all stages of the research lifecycle at Partners in Health, Sierra Leone. The goal of this role is to generate evidence that informs clinical practice, guides health policy development and supports impact measurement. The Research Manager will provide mainly supervisory role across a range of research activities, including protocol development, preparation of Institutional Review Board (IRB) submissions, supporting study design and field implementation, developing data collection tools, managing data, supporting data analysis and assisting in the development of abstracts, posters, presentations and publications.In addition, the Research Manager will provide administrative support to strengthen the research portfolio.
Working alongside the Senior Research Manager, the Research Managerwill also help to strengthen research capacity among PIH staff and Ministry of Health counterparts Further, the Research Managerwill support the regular review and implementation of research governance protocols and guidelines
