Research Manager/Senior Research Manager in B2B & Industrial research practice

Location: Gurugram

Kantar’s Business-to-Business (B2B) practice provides a clear vision of growth opportunities to its clients – by combining best practice approaches and powerful new technologies to get actionable insights. With its repository of knowledge and understanding gained through studying diverse sectors for several decades and time-tested approaches, Kantar’s B2B practice is tailored to the unique challenges and opportunities faced by its clients.

KEY OUTCOMES STATEMENT:

  • Critical

Manage data collection processes, ensuring accuracy, quality, and ethical compliance.

Must have good skills in MS excel

Hands on with:

Data quality checks such as identifying inconsistent answers, and incomplete responses, implementing data validation rules etc.

Statistical methods to identify outliers and unusual patterns in the data.

Survey link (programmed survey) test

Hands-on with identification and resolution of programming bugs by testing the internal logic of the form (e.g., the skip patterns, constraints, etc.)

Running internal pilots

Field interviews

Conducting unstructured business / qualitative interviews

Training moderators

Ability to direct the analysis team, knowledge of key quantitative techniques. Deliver high-quality, evidence-based and actionable insights through the design and execution of primary research studies that directly inform product, go to market and brand strategy

Experience

2-4 years of primary research experience and capability to work on both qualitative and quantitative projects.

Should have managed client relationships.

Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Analyze qualitative and quantitative data and then turn into an insightful report.

Research Design & Planning

Define research objectives and questions.

Choose appropriate methodologies (qualitative or quantitative).

Develop research instruments (e.g., questionnaires, discussion guides)

Apply statistical techniques and sampling methodologies.

Stakeholder Collaboration

Work with client teams to align research with business goals.

Communicate and present findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Should work as part of a team and ensure timely project execution of projects. A quick learner and should have an interest in keeping himself/ herself abreast of latest developments.
