– Senior Research Manager – Mixed Methods

Experience 10-12 Years in consumer research / insights

Location Bangalore work from office, work from client office, hybrid

Key Skills and Responsibilities (non-technical)

  • Understanding and sharing user perspectives to interpret both qualitative narratives and quantitative behaviors.
  • Drawing out nuanced insights during interviews, focus groups and while interpreting survey feedback.
  • Synthesizing large datasets and complex qualitative inputs into clear, actionable insights.
  • Challenging assumptions, validating findings, and ensuring methodological rigor across mixed methods.
  • Building capability in mixed methods approaches within the team.
  • Connecting research outcomes to client objectives, market realities, and strategic decision‑making.
  • Building trust with clients, internal stakeholders and cross‑functional teams.
  • Partnering effectively with analysts, designers, product managers, and other researchers.
  • Maintaining clear communication during project briefings, updates, and post‑study discussions.
  • Making insights accessible and persuasive through clear narratives and visuals.
  • Proactively addressing issues to ensure smooth project closure.
  • Driving alignment on research strategies and recommendations.
  • Sharing ideas, fostering collaboration, and encouraging innovation in research practices.

Key Skills and Responsibilities – Technical

  • Experienced market research professional with 10-12 years of experience in qualitative and quantitative research fields across multiple categories and geographies.
  • Skills to analyze and synthesize both qualitative and quantitative data, turning complex research into clear, strategic recommendations
  • Ability to strategically decode consumer needs, synthesizing complex ideas and communicating the same through the art of storytelling.
  • Competence in stakeholder management and fostering collaboration across functions to arrive at actionable solutions in time bound projects.
  • Leading primary research through interviews, usability testing, diary studies, ethnography, surveys, journey mapping, and prototype evaluations to uncover actionable user insights.
  • Translating numbers and narratives into compelling stories that resonate with stakeholders.
  • Guide the customer on the appropriate research strategy that addresses their business objectives.
  • Design the discussion guide / questionnaire / research framework.
  • Analyse the information and create insights / synthesize findings.
  • Create reports in PowerPoint, Google Slides
  • Design proposals / pitches for client studies.
  • Be the key point of contact for the client.
  • Manage the overall project end to end.
  • Guiding junior researchers across qual and quant projects.
