Futurewei, an innovative, research-oriented company, is currently looking for motivated interns for the Boston Storage Lab in the field of advance solution development and IT Infrastructure (focus on platform) who want to learn and contribute to the cutting-edge research in database, platform, and media.
The 2026 summer interns will join in a very fast-paced R&D environment and work on the following project: Data platform and LLM (Large Language Models) related enterprise system solutions.
Responsibility:
1.Engage in various stage of LLM
·Conduct research and contribute at different phases of LLM projects, aiding in development and implementation of frameworks and methodologies for LLM.
2.Quality oriented Solution Design
·Ensure the design and implementation of solutions align with high-quality standards and meet specified requirements.
3.Collaborate on Solution Development:
·Work alongside solution team members to create white papers outlining frameworks and methodologies aimed at enhancing LLM processes.
Requirements:
1.Master’s or PhD candidates in Computer Science or a related field.
2.Background or specialization in the field of AI/ML is highly preferred.
3.Demonstrated ability in conducting comprehensive and methodical research.
4.Previous experience with LLM or involvement on application of LLM is advantageous.
5.Proficient in devising effective solution to complex problems.
6.Prior software development skills preferred.
