The Wu laboratory pursues an integrated translational research program aimed at defining cancer signaling networks and therapy ‑induced adaptive responses in breast and ovarian cancers. The lab leverages quantitative proteomics and phosphoproteomics to map signaling pathways, and protein interactomes that drive therapeutic response and resistance, enabling discovery of biomarkers and therapeutic targets. Dr. Wu ’s group uses molecular and cellular approaches and unique, tissue ‑specific genetically engineered mouse models to validate key signaling discoveries and their oncogenic roles in cancer initiation and progression. Insights from these studies directly inform the development and preclinical evaluation of therapeutic humanized monoclonal antibodies and antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs). This integrated pipeline provides postdoctoral fellows with opportunities to conduct hypothesis ‑driven research spanning discovery, in vivo validation, and therapeutic translation.
