The Laboratory for RNA Delivery Therapeutics is an inter-school research laboratory across the College of Engineering and College of Science at Nanyang Technological University (NTU), focusing on the development of advanced RNA delivery technologies. The laboratory's research focuses on the design, synthesis and evaluation of novel lipid- and polymer-based delivery systems for RNA therapeutics, with particular emphasis on enhancing delivery efficiency and endosomal escape.
The laboratory is led by Prof Mary Chan-Park, President's Chair Professor at NTU Singapore and Director of the Laboratory for RNA Delivery Therapeutics. The research programme includes collaborations with leading international partners to advance next-generation RNA nanomedicines.

Key Job Purpose:
We are looking for a Research Fellow to conduct research on the development of novel lipid- and polymer-based delivery systems for RNA therapeutics. The role will focus on the design, formulation and evaluation of stimuli-responsive nanoparticles to enhance RNA delivery and endosomal escape.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and optimize stimuli-responsive nanoparticle formulations for RNA delivery.
Formulate lipid- or polymer-based nanoparticles with RNA cargo.
Characterize nanoparticle physicochemical properties and formulation performance.
Evaluate RNA transfection efficiency and endosomal escape.
Conduct bioimaging studies of mammalian cells and RNA delivery formulations.
Perform in vivo studies using relevant animal models.
Analyze and interpret experimental data, including nanoparticle and delivery performance measurements.
Job Requirements:
PhD in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Bioengineering, or a related discipline.
Research experience in stimuli-responsive RNA delivery, lipid/polymer nanoparticle formulation, and RNA delivery evaluation.
Hands-on experience in lipid or polymer formulation, bioimaging techniques (e.g. confocal microscopy, FRET, FRAP), and/or in vivo studies.
Good publication record, communication skills, and ability to conduct independent research.
Entry-level PhD graduates with relevant research experience are welcome to apply.
We regret that only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
